This is a color photograph of the interior of the Lyford school house at Billie Creek Village. The school was moved from its original location north of Lyford in the 1960s. Seats for the school came from an abandoned school in Terre Haute. Indiana and the blackboard from the Perrysville School. The man seated on the left is John R. Coffin.This item was donated by John R. and Lucille Coffin. |
