This is a color photograph of the remains of Dooley Station which was located in Section 5 of Greene Township in Parke County, Indiana. Built on land owned by Martin Dooley in 1874, it served the Logansport, Crawfordsville and South Western Railroad line and later the Terre Haute and Logansport line which the line was renamed after being sold in 1879. The building is almost completely gone, the remains of the chimney and some lumber plus stone steps are all that are visible. This item was donated by Charles Davis. |
