Mary Gardner by her attorney Samuel Judah complains to the court that she is entitled to a reasonable dower being one hundred and ten acres of donation lot 186 that adjoins the property of the late Charles Embers. County commissioners, George Calhoun, Hugh Barr and William Fairhurst are appointed to map out the dower property and Mary is awarded from lot 186 eighteen and sixty one hundredth of acres and twenty acres and fifty one hundredth acres from lot 185, making a total of forty three and ten one hundredth acres awarded for her dower rights. A map is included and shows where the property of the late Charles Embers was located. |
