On the twenty fourth day of August 1850, Samuel Emison appears before the court. The court orders Emison to show just cause on why the State should not have execution against his goods and chattels, lands and tenements for the sum of fifty dollars. This is the amount of his recognize he put up for Francis Purrier who was called three time to court but he did not appear. Francis Purrier was charged on a count of larceny. The case came to hand on May 17, 1851 and executed on July 1, 1851 by reading the document to Samuel Emison. |
