Description: Folder 4421 in Box 81 of Knox County Circuit Court records at the Knox County Public Library’s McGrady-Brockman House holds two documents; a summons dated March 15, 1837 and a bond dated July 6, 1837 for William Syms. John Marney is also named on the bond. The summons calls on Syms to “answer unto the state of Indiana on an indictment for a riot.”
