Knox County probate record for Thomas Thorn, 1843

Description: The probate record for Thomas Thorn, 1843 is in Box 37 of the probate records archive at the Knox County Public Library’s Mc-Grady-Brockman House. In a document titled “List of debt desperate owed Thorn which came into hands of administrators after Thorn’s death filed 11-22-1844 included the following names: (pg.1) William Burch $1.50 and Abram Burch $2.38, (pg.3) Moses Knight $4.12, and (pg. 5) William Rollins $.75 and C.M. Rollins $1.50. In a document titled “Additional List of Debts Desperate due Thorn at time of his Death” filed 2-14-45 William Burch $14.00. In document titled “A List of Accounts Collected of Debt Desperate was William Rollins $.75. A receipt filed 2-21-46 showed Moses Knight paid the estate $4.12, the balance of his account.
