In file 1of 3 The sale bill of 6-5-1843 lists several purchases made by the following negro men: J.P. Reynolds, Jonathon Taylor, and Moses Oaks. Items and values are noted. A list of judgements believed to be desperate belonging to Littleton Estate are Willis Springs $24.81, Armstead Stewart $1.25, and Abram Burch $14.11. In file 2 is a receipt showing a payment by William Rollins to Timms estate for $4.00 dated 11-10-1842 filed 8-21-45. In file 3 the document titled “List of Judgements from John Collins Docket of the Sale Notes of the Timms Estate” lists Moses Oaks and Hirem Abdel owing $3.75 dated 4-3-54. A document titled “List of Judgement on Collins Document in Favor of Estate” dated 6-21-1851 was filed as desperate on 6-24-1852 listing Arthur McGill and Sam Clark. In a document titled “Document of Docket of John Dardenne” dated 11-16-1846 shows John H. Harrison of Littleton Timms vs. Samuel Clark $20.96 and another document in Knox County Probate Court Nov. term 1847 of Henry Wheeler of Littleton Timms estate vs Samuel Clark vs. Charles Ember vs. Edwin Brown. Included in this file was a receipt of payment to Timms from Nero Graves in amount of $12.12 for value received. |
