He certainly is loyal to his sorority.Miss Audrey Baumgardner spent the weekend, Jan. 23-24, in Clinton.Misses Elsie Beit and Bess Kerber have beensupplying in the city schools.Misses Louise and Helen Cooper visitedtheir home in Logansport, Feb. 6-7.Miss Helen McKeever is teaching at Mt.Rose School in the place of Miss Cecil Unison07, who has been suffering from a severe attack of appendicitis.Miss Edith Provines, 14, spent a recentweek-end with Terre Haute friends.Miss Mary Engle, 13, who is teaching thefourth grade at Carlisle, was in this city Saturday, to do some reference work in the Normallibrary. We are afraid that most of us do notappreciate the fact that our library is one ofthe best reference libraries in the Middle West.Beginning Feb. 10, the girls inter classbasketball games will begin. The admissionis ten cents, and all the girls of the school areurged to come. You know, girls, that sincethe admission to the Varsity gaves has beenso high, each of the fellows realizes that totake his best girl to a basketball game in properstyle makes a hole in his pocketbook about thesize of a weeks board. So if you have notseen a good game for some time, here is yourchance to satisfy your longing.We think that Miss Schweitzer should seethat Ruth Alexander spends less of her timein the company of Jim (Gym).Miss Dorothy Butler, who has been seriouslyill, is again in school.Miss Bader was unable to keep her physicaltraining classes in the training school and theyare now in charge of Miss Louise Gillum.It sure looked good to see Ruth Harriss14, familiar face in the gymnasium the otherday.Miss Dorothy Roberts has recovered from asprained ankle.Mr. Clifford Blackman missed a few days ofschool on account of illness. Yes, and we mustnot forget to mention that Charlie Burton hadan awful bad cold. The girls certainlymissed them.If Prof. Hathaway finds his light bill toolarge, we might enlighten him. You cannotblame daughters for forgetting sometimes.Miss Lillian Davis, 13, who is teachingdepartmental history and physiology at Carlisle, was in Terre Haute, Saturday, Feb. 6.Miss Myrtle E.
