It reserves the right to change its mindif it so pleases and sees fit. All of those interested, however, may assure themselves thathaving done so once, it will not do so againupon the same subject.In the December issue, certain instructionswere given concerning the pictures for the Annual. These instructions have been revised andare as follows:All Seniors have pictures taken with a lightgray background. (None but light gray backgrounds will be accepted from Seniors.)It is preferred that all other students havetheir pictures taken on a light gray background,but this is not absolutely required.All prints for the Advance to be full cabinetsize, and a glossy finish.The Martin and Eppert Studios only, havefull instructions from the Advance art staff.For further instructions (if needed), feelfree to ask any member of the Advance staffor Miss Norma Wilson, art editor.We are ready to accept any pictures at thistime. All Seniors who expect to graduate, andwho are in school this term, must get their pictures in the hands of the editors during thefirst nine weeks of the present Winter Term.No pictures will be accepted later than thisdate except from those Seniors who do not enter until the Spring term. These late comerswill be given two weeks in which to get theirsin.Have your picture taken at once and handthe print to either the Editor-in-Chief, the Associate or the Art Editor.At a meeting of the College Course Seniorsheld on Wednesday, Jan. 12th, it was unanimously decided that College Course Seniorshave their pictures for the Annual taken in capand gown. Caps and gowns will be left at bothMartins and Epperts studios. The committee in charge of getting the caps and gowns isMr. Walk, Miss Reed and Mr. Mercker.This is to introduce you again to Mr. AValterShriner, our circulation manager. Mr. Shrinernot only has as yet a few unpaid subscriptionsof seventy-five cents each, held over from lastfall, but is also ready at any time to receivesubscriptions from anyone for the remainingissues of the paper. The remainingissues will cost fifty cents. Mr. Shriner is waiting to see you. Do not disappoint him.All advertisements will be found on the lastthree pages, and on the cover pages of thisissue. The advertisers will all be pleased tohave you call on them, and if you are goingto buy anything, it will pay you to do so. Noadvertisements from any unreliable firms willbe found in this paper.We lose vigor through thinking continuallythe same set of thoughts.
