146THE NORMAL ADVAXCETHE ANNUAL.The various classes and organizations areurged to make their arrangements for representation in the Annual at the earliest possible date. Figures and terms were decidedupon by the members of the board, which theyfeel very sure will be highly pleasing to thedifferent organizations, and the board is veryanxious that every one of them be represented. The rates are for the most part lower thanthey have been for a number of years, notwithstanding the fact that The Advance will haveto stand a great deal of additional expense. Asit is a Senior production the rates for theSenior class will be somewhat higher thanthose of last year, but each Senior will be givena copy of the Annual free of charge.Another matter of interest is the name to begiven to the Annual. Every Senior, eitherXormal or College Course, is urged to suggestthe name which he thinks most appropriate forthe book and leave it with the editor not laterthan March 28.Sterna of 3fatere£tEQUAL SUFFRAGE LEAGUE.V\ AHAT is it that you are going to watch™ for every Monday ? Why, The Womans Journal, of course. How is that what isit? Well, the Equal Suffrage League heldits regular bi-monthly meeting February 8. Atthis meeting the members decided that it wouldbe good campaign policy to put the WomansJournal in the school library, where its enlightened discussions might as a missionarybring light to the dark conservatism of re-ac-tionaries. The journal contains not only suffrage notes, but current political events. Atthe next meeting, March 14, Bertha Pratt Kingwill talk. It certainly will be a great privilege for any one to hear Miss King, whetherhe believes in equal suffrage or not. She wasone of the women with Senator LaFollettesdaughter who conducted the equal suffragecampaign in Wisconsin and Ohio. Her talksare generally full of humorous incidents thathave occurred when she was interviewing ministers, printers, and society women on the suffrage question. Everyone come ! Hear a goodtalk.NORMAL HIGH SCHOOL.On Saturday, May 24, 1913, applications foradmission to the Freshman year of the XormalHigh School of next fall. Applications willbe received from 8 oclock till 12.
