It was in the formof a progressive party. The last place visitedwas the home of Miss Gladys Rippetoe, whereall were seated around a table that fairlygroaned with good things to eat.The Mu Zeta Section entertained Saturdayevening, February7 1, with Misses Clara Applegate, Ruth Costlow, and Edith Provines acting as hostess. The out-of-town guests wereMisses Edna Applegate of Thorntown, andSylva Wood, of Linton, a former Mu Zeta,Refreshments were served after the true MuZeta order, that is, with a relish of true fellowship. Other social affairs for the year werealso planned.OMEGA.An initiation was held January 22 at thehome of Gwendolyn ATolkers on South Fifthstreet, with Meta Glavecke and GwendolynA^olkers as hostesses. Four new memberswere taken in—Alma Shively, Rachel Shafer,Marguerita Ray, and Daphne Bratton. Atwo course luncheon was served after whichgames were played. The members presentw7ere: Lena Hanley, Elizabeth Freudenreich,Mildred and Mary Flaherty. Edna Lloyd,Netta McCampbell, Helena Freitag, HazelFischer, Frances Newton, Edna Wallace, MetaGlavecke, Margaret Kilroy, Mary Richard,Hila Lewis, Mona Halloran, and GwendolynVolkers.Misses Pearl Samuels and Edna Lloyd entertained the Omega girls with a A^alentine partyThursday, February 13, at the home of MissSamuels.Miss Ruth Kruzan gave a nafternoon partyfor the section at her home in Brazil, Saturday.February 15.Miss Ruth Kruzan entertained the membersof the Omega Sorority, Saturday afternoon,February 15, at her home in Brazil. Theguests left here on the interurban at 1 oclockand returned in the evening.The house was attractively decorated withferns, palms and flowers, the principal colorsbeing red and white. The central ornament inthe dining room was a basket of red carnationsencircled by an arrangement of red candles incut glass candlesticks. Suspended over thiswas a dome of red and white hearts. As theguests entered the room little Mary Edith In-nian presented red carnations bearing whitecupids. A two course luncheon was served.Miss Anna Josephine Freitag and Miss LucileHutchinson served heart-shaped sandwichesfrom dainty Japanese baskets. The hostess wasassisted in entertaining by Mrs. F. W. Hutchinson and Mrs. A. Kruzan. The afternoon wasspent in various contests and music.Among the Brazil guests of the sorority werethe Misses P]dith Krumm, Edith Waterman,Ruth Reddie, Madge Stigler, Helen Mofford,and Bern ice Lehman.PI ZETA.The Pi Zeta sorority began its active term swork by initiating six new members. They areMisses Leone AArright, Dalpha Fitzgerald, FayFitzgerald, Gladys Delph, Elsie Atkinson, andEditK Dillon.A progressive luncheon was given at thehome of Misses Davies, Sterling, Neal andKlipple. It was quite an enjoyable affairMisses Larene Davies and Amy Stirling entertained with a fudge party at their home at500 North Sixth street. Near the close of theafternoon a delightful luncheon was served atthe Rose.On Friday, January 24, initiation was held.The first degree was administered at 500 North
