Milholland, Morrill, Chambers and Miss Ranahan. All these persons werewell prepared and delivered excellent talks.The winners of the contest were Messrs.Chambers and Morrill respectively.In Mr. Chambers the interests of the Sophomore class are well placed. In point of thoughthe did well, and in thought of delivery he hasa reputation. Mr. Chambers is supported bythe Sophomore class and great things are expected from the Sophomore class in the Interclass Debate.ALUMNIMr. Winfield T. Cullens, 08, is planning toaccept a civil service position in the PhilippineIslands. He expects to begin work there earlynext year.Mr. Claude Kitch, 06, has charge of themathematics in the Vincennes High School.Messrs. Harmon and Ritter WThitesitt of EastChicago, Ind., and Altoona, Pa., respectively,were recently called home by the death of theirmother.Mr. Shirley F. Stewart, 06, teaches mathematics in the Spencer High School. Mr. Stewart has obtained his degree at I. U. since leaving I. S. N.Miss Mary E. White, 07, is teaching at Dale,Indiana.Miss Pearl Ellis, who was superintendent ofmusic in the city schools of Terre Haute lastyear, has resigned and gone to New York tofurther her education along musical lines. Sheis living with Miss Leila Parr.Miss Jessie Munsey, 08, has charge of thephysiology and geography work in the MarionCity Schools.Mr. B. F. Moore, 84, who was superintendent of the Marion Schools last year, has accepted a like position at Muncie.Mr. Thomas E. McCord, Sophomore, teachesgrades seven and eight at Oaklandon.Mr. Charles McCormack, Senior, is principalof the Maple Grove High School.Mr. Claude Stirwalt, 06, is superintendentof the schools at Eminence, Ind.Mr. Mack Kenworthy, 06, assisted by Mr.Christopher Cauble, 08, has charge of theHigh School at Paragon.Mr. Fred Spencer, 08, is one of the instructors in the High bchool at Bellmore.Misses Harriet Paynter, 08, and Ethel Perkins, 08, are teaching the grades at Indianapolis.Mrs. Helen Hughes, 08, is principal of Edin-burg High School.Mr. Glen Lingle, Sophomore, has charge ofthe seventh and eighth grades at Castleton.Mr. Denzil Hightower, 08, teaches sciencework in Oakland City College.Mr. O. W. Fauber, 08, has the principalshipof one of the ward schools at Brazil, Ind.Mrs. Mary E. Lindley Cox, 86, resides on afarm near Olva, Oklahoma.Miss Mary Gale Taylor, 78, is now a resident of Pasadena, California.Mr. H. M. Smith, 83, is a banker in Springfield, Mo.Mr. Will D. Anderson, 08, is principal ofone of Terre Hautes ward schools.Mrs. Leon Metzinger, 06, has been engagedas instructor in the German Department of theUniversity of Iowa, at Iowa City.Mr. Ernest Fischer, 06, has charge of theGerman in Vincennes High School.
