Themembers and guests were Misses Ellis, EmmaAbbot, Mabel Gossman, Juliet Howard, MarieDowns, Henrietta Way, Jessie Sigler, MabelMarshall, Kathryn Kester, Alice Pound, EdnaSchmidt, Marie Corbett, Orpha Cole, HelenConnor, Florence Cadden, Minnie Hoberg,Laura Minturn, Helen Froeb and RegineShultz.The new members of the Mu Zeta Sectionare: Laura Minturn, Juliet Howard, HelenFroeb, Kathryn Kester, Jessie Sigler, MinnieHoberg, Marie Corbett and Helen Connor.Miss Isabel Cadden is teaching Latin in theHigh School at Orleans, Indiana.Miss Noela Hodgers is teaching music,Drawing and English in the Clay City HighSchool.MY O SOT IS.Since the last issue of The Advance theMyosotis girls have enjoyed many pleasantaffairs.The week preceding Commencement thegirls entertained their gentlemen friends witha spread at the Y. W. C. A. House in NorthSixth Street. This was followed by an automobile ride to Ellsworth and neighboring localities.The same week, a number of the girls enjoyed a breakfast at Collett Park.Eleven of the Myosotis who remained inschool during the summer term were entertained by the Misses Dodson. The eveningwas spent in music and dancing. The girlswho remained for the summer term were theMisses Rust, Diltz, Rathfon, Dodson, Wallerand Shortridge. ,The members who are in school this termare the Misses Best, Waller, Tichenor andShortridge.On Saturday evening, October 10, the Chapter was entertained by the Misses Shortridgeat their home in North Seventh Street. Theevening was spent in music and dancing. Refreshments were served and a jolly time washad by all.One new member, Miss Ida Robertson, hasbeen added to the Section thus far.PI ZETA.The Pi Zeta Chapter of the Womens Leaguehas a brilliant and pleasant outlook for theyear 1908-09. Its old characteristics, loyaltyand enthusiasm, have been revived by its oldmembers and absorbed by the new ones, thusgiving it a basis on which any Chapter mightbe proud to stand.The official side of the chapter.Jias not yetbeen fully reorganized, but the social side wasopened Thursday evening, October 15, by a PiZeta spread given at the home of the MissesManion and Helt. Gold and blue, the Pi Zetacolors, were very prominent among the decorations. Refreshments were served after thetrue Pi Zeta order, that is, with a relish of truefellowship. Other social affairs for the yearwere also planned.CICERONIAN.The coming year promises much that is encouraging and elating to the Ciceronians.Seven of the old members, the Messrs. Schor-ling, Stirwalt, Lanning, Rowe, Benham,Winkler, and James have reorganized the debating club and they meet as heretofore in theFairbanks library on Monday evenings.Two new members, the Messrs.
