Steepelton and Cox.The Gamma Gamma Dinner Club, Jr., will
meet with Bessie Streever Saturday, March 7.
The members are: Anita Duenweg, Bessie
Streever, Gertrude Kearns, Katheryn Rhoads,
Bertha Phillips, Lillian Eppert, Edith Cornell,
Mary Carrithers, Nadine Reed and Irma May-
rose.The active chapter is planning for the an¬
nual dance which will be held May 2.Miss Isabel Hamilton of Greensburg and
Ema Ross of Seymour will be in school in the
coming spring term.The Alumnae, with Ruby Fuhr as president,
are beginning to plan for the reunion. It will
be held during commencement week.Miss Esther Westbrook, who is teaching his¬
tory in the Bedford school, was the guest of
the section, and her sister, Miss Mary, the week
of March 1.Miss Grace Flood entertained informally
Friday, February 27. The active members were
present. The guests were served at small tables,
which were decorated with candles and Gamma
decorations.The Kappa Section has organized a bridge
club which meets at the homes of its members
on alternate Thursday nights.The last business meeting was held at the
home of Miss Geneva Smock, Saturday night,
February 28th. After the usual business ses¬
sion a delicious lunch was served and the re¬
mainder of the evening was spent socially. The
members present were: Esther Arnold, Ana-
stacia Burke, Marie Carter, Helen Casey, Jamie
Delay, Doris Drake, Marguerite Dunkin, Mar¬
guerite Ellis, Ethel Friez, Edna Glick, SueHess, Florence Hurt, Helen Jones, Loretta
Kelly, Hazel Kiefner, Marguerite Kisner,
Doyne Koonce, Zelpha Burkett, Gertrude Leon-
rad, Gladys McClung, Susan Miller, Inez Mc¬
Clung, Pattie McCullum, Theo Sauer, Kath-
erine Walsh, Mary Westbrook and Geneva
Smock.The Psi Theta section was delightfully en¬
tertained by Miss Esther Norris on Friday
evening, February 13, at her home on Craw¬
ford Avenue. The guests assembled at eight
oclock, each dressed to represent some book of
fiction. The first part of the evening was spent
in studying the unique costumes, and guessing
what each represented. The next game which
caused much merriment was the reading and
writing of descriptions of each of the guests.
Miss Woody then sang two beautiful solos, ac¬
companied by Miss Norris on the piano. A
delicious luncheon was then served by Miss
Norris to which her guests did ample justice.
Those present were Misses Rhiner, Hall,
Woody, Madden, Parr, Zell, Weyl, Norris,
Veit and Pickerl. Miss Emma Leinhart, of
South Bend, a former member of the Psi Theta
sorority, was entertained by the section during
her visit in Terre Haute. A card party and
dance was given in her honor at the home of
Mrs. G. Smith on North Fourth Street, on Feb¬
ruary 20, and on the 21st, a matinee party at
the Grand followed by a luncheon at the Herz
Tea Room.On March 7, the Psi Theta girls enjoyed a
theatre party at the Orpheum, followed by a
luncheon at Valentines.Two members of the section, Misses Glover
and Zell, were sent as delegates to Richmond, to
represent the Y. W. C. A. at the Missionary
Convention held at Earlham College.One of the prettiest social events of the
Omega Sorority was their dancing party given
at the Phoenix Club, Saturday, February 21.
