Description: Letter to Eugene V. Debs, 12/19/1919. Tells Eugene V. Debs that she is writing only to show her love and devotion to him. Assures Eugene V. Debs that justice will win out in the end. Writes that if it was possible that she would serve out the rest of Eugene V. Debss prison sentence. Says that she is uneducated and hence cannot do as much as Eugene V. Debs to awaken the slumbering world to socialism. Tells Eugene V. Debs that she is praying for the time that she can see his face again because he is the greatest man on Earth today. Remarks that she has a picture hanging up her house. Explains that like Eugene V. Debs she, too, is a admirer of John Browns even though her father fought for the Confederacy during the Civil War. Tells Eugene V. Debs that she prays for a time when Jesus Christ will speak peace to the troubled hearts of humanity.
