The Second Empire-style four-story building has a mansard roof. Signs above the doors read Kelly Services and Plaza building. Time stamped March 1972. To the left is the new Indianapolis Public Schools building, completed in ??? on Walnut Street.The building, located on the southeast corner of North Pennsylvania and Walnut Streets was built prior to 1887 and housed the Sewell Girls Classical School Residence from 1907-1920, the Indiana Dental School from about 1920-1934, the Lincoln Chiropractic College between 1935 and about 1947, and was later named the Plaza Building. During the 1960s and 70s it was the home to Kelly Services. |
