Time stamped August 1979. Seen are Schicks Service Center at 30 North Pennsylvania, Sanders Delicatessen, Norm Weismans Liquor Shoppe, Stationers store at 28 North Pennsylvania, and the St. Moritz Steak House at 44 North Pennsylvania.The 1874 Second Empire style building was also known as the Bates Block and the When Store. The Ober family bought the building in 1946 and soon thereafter remodeled it by removing balconies and other architectural ornamentation. The building was razed in 1995 and replaced with a parking garage. |
