Cars parked along the northwest side of Lilly Hall

Description: Likely taken from the roof of the Pharmacy Building, this photograph shows cars parked along both Clarendon Road and Lake Road on the northwest side of Lilly Hall. In the background, portions of the original Lambda Chi Alpha House (left) and Clowes Memorial Hall (right) are visible. When Lilly Hall opened in September 1962, the building featured a central court with an outdoor stage, 40 individual practice rooms, 10 classrooms, 4 dance studios, 6 organ practice rooms, 3 group rehearsal rooms, 30 studio-offices, and a large rehearsal hall, among other features. The courtyard was eliminated when an addition was added to building, which opened in 2003. Clowes Hall opened on October 18, 1963.
