Description: |
An unknown person stands near the Garden House in Holcomb Gardens. Although Holcomb Gardens opened in 1950, the Garden House was not completed until 1952. Donated by J. I. Holcomb, the structure was built to house a meeting room, kitchenette, and public restrooms. The building was constructed of limestone and cypress. The space has been used for Butler University events, as classroom space, and rented out as an event space for meetings, wedding receptions, and other activities. |
