This brings to ones memory a room filled with shy, timid little creatures clinging toMrs. Browns skirts. This lasted for only a year, because we were then turned over to Leota Price.Gayle Stultz then took us over for the third and fourth grades. For our fifth year, Inez Litten took usin hand. She then turned us over to Frances Kelly, our sixth grade teacher. We then began to wander through the upper hall, as we began our junior high school course. MissMildred Reeves, our faithful sponsor, helped us to get adjusted to our new life. When we began our Freshman year, again Miss Reeves was there to help us. Bob Crum waspresident; Faye Libkie, vice-president; and Betty Rose Grubbs, secretary-treasurer.During our Sophomore year Hester Baker was president; Faye Libkie, vice-president; and BettyRose Grubbs, secretary-treasurer. Miss Reeves again gave us a helping hand.Next came our Junior year. This year Irene Miller was president; Faye Libkie, vice-president;Betty Rose Grubbs, secretary-treasurer; and Betty Stines, assistant secretary-treasurer. MissReeves, our sponsor, and Mr. Paul Deckard, our co-sponsor, helped us give a play, Hobgoblin House, and sell candy at the ball games. Mr. Deckard left us at Christmas, and Martha Buchanan wassubstituted. We then gave a play, Honeymoon House. In the spring we entertained the Seniorswith a banquet at the Union Building in Bloomington. Our last year Miss Reeves was again our sponsor and Martha Buchanan was co-sponsor. FayeLibkie was elected president; Hester Baker, vice-president; and Wilma Paschal, secretary-treasurer.We, the Senior class, wish to thank Miss Reeves for her guidance during our Junior and Seniorhigh school years. She has helped us through the most trying times. We also wish to thank Mr. Deckard and Mrs. Buchanan for their help.We will always hold dear the memories of our school days in E. H. S. As we wonder throughthe halls of learning for the last time, we recall the instruction, the kindness and guidance we havereceived during the past twelve years, and we wish to thank each teacher for his help.
