Dances Are OftenAmong the PopularAfter-Game ActivitiesDances have long been a traditional form ofentertainment for students after home games.But as times change, so does tradition. No longer does the high school dance consist of simplydancing to the tune of a juke box or a recordplayer. Live bands are brought in now, manywith their own compositions and bringing theirown strobe lights to add dimension to the dances. These dances, sponsored by the variousclubs around school have become a regularevent.Some element of the night of excitement seems tohave stunned Dara Garrett although her friends arenttoo excited.The crowd gathers around a couple doing a new and interesting dance in the corner.16man |
