The horsesare said to Run for the Rosesbecause a legendary ceremonyof roses is held after the race tohonor the winning horse. Class 101 is one of the feworganizations in Bloomington that providespreparation courses for both the college applicationprocess and for standardized tests. Many Southstudents are involved with these Class 101preparation courses. III. Juniors Katherine Powersand Emily Long sit at the Class 101 tables,preparing to start an ACT practice reading test.Students take practice tests on the subjects ofreading, language, science, and math.
