The Kappa Alpha Theta cyclists celebrate their win.The Theta cyclists were also victorious in the Little 500 in 2017, beating out Alpha Omicron Pi,which placed second again in 2017. Sophomore JensynBowman has been a part of BEAT since last year, but she has beenperforming for about six years. Her favorite part about the program isthat it has shown [her] the best ways a group of students can worktogether to create something amazing. Bowman said that she lovedperforming the final song A Little Party Never Killed Nobody becausethe choreography was so much fun. Carter Makice, a junior at South,has been a part of the program for two years. He has become a muchbetter performer, but also learned a lot about working as a team andbeing a part of a supportive community, Makice said.
