I paid $28 orsomething and I thought it was a fine price for how great the concert was - Ihad a blast, -sophomore Kara ChapinI went to see Phish in Tennessee and Deer Creek. I spent $128dollars on just tickets and $100 or so on hotels and campgrounds.Twice whenwe were camping out it started to rain, so we had to get a hotel.The highlightof my life was Deer Creek (when Phish played), -junior Nate BrennerHe (Nate Brenner) follows Phish like people follow the Dalai Llama,I spent around $200 (at the Phish concert). The tickets cost $60 and I neededthe rest for other things ... -junior Loren StumpnerThis summer I went to Dave Matthews, it was awesome. Personally(I think) hes a lot better live than recorded, which made the concert reallyworth while. My sister and I missed the opening act so we walked in on thefirst song,Satellite,- it completely pumped me up for the rest of the concert. Iwas going to go the second night, but I got stabbed in the back cause someonestood me up.Thank goodness they played, Say Goodbye,the night I went or Iwould have cried for days, -junior GaliaArad I went to X-Fest 1999.There, Everclears lead singer, Art Alexakis,wanted security to let people from the lawn to get onstage and dance with theband while they played their cover for KISS .The Boys are Back in Town.Security didnt want to do that, but Alecakis said that they would riot if theydidnt let them on. It was really tense because it was my first concert, and Iwasnt really used to the whole concert riot type stuff, -sophomore JannsonEnglemanI worked backstage at the main show at Youth Fest 1999. It was coolbecause I met the bands and got all sorts of free stuff. I worked setting up thestage for the bands and moved huge stage amps that weighed almost 200,- sophomore Chris JohansenThis summer, Cassie Nelson and I went to Lillith Fair. It was thecoolest thing in the world because we both love Sarah McLachlan so much andwe got to sing along to our favorite song Ice Cream. And Sarah did Angelwith Deborah Cox, which was so beautiful and fabulous. It was the night beforeschool started, so even if we were tired the next day, it was an incredible endto a fun summer, -senior Rachel ShiffrinI went to see the Cranberries and Collective Soul. It was great. Iwent up with friends, spent $20 on food and $30 on the tickets. I went with mybest friend, and it was great to spend time with her, -sophomore Carrie SareMy girlfriend got the (Tim McGraw) tickets for my birthday, and itwas really fun.
