Description: ■MMM•*■■wmmmSummer includes fun and learningBusiness, journalism, music, debateand a variety of classes at Culver Military Academy sent several students tosummer institutes.Jen McCartt attended a journalisminstitute at Indiana University, whereshe received a second-place award forher editors brief, an analysis of the1973-74 Optimist.Bloomington South had four students involved in the Junior Achievement conference held at Indiana University. These students were chosenbecause they showed outstandingleadership qualities.Several students participated in music institutes held at Indiana University and in Interlochen, Michigan. Senior David Rezits was among a selectgroup of students chosen to play inthe World Youth Orchestra at Interlochen.Six students attended Culver Military Academy during the summer.The students spent seven weeks takinga wide variety of classes of theirchoice. Senior Patty Schrodt was graduated from the three-year summerschool program.TOP: Culver Military Academy summer students: Judy Stewart, Chuck Emery, Dee DeeDunn, Keith Cooper, Cathy Cohen, andPatty Schrodt.
