Description: MedalsFuture Homemakers ofAmerica earned six medalsat the state competition, according to sponsor EdwynaNolan was their main goal.Two gold medalists were Da-vid Home and TeresaStroud, Debbie Neidigh, Patricia Teague, MelissaAntonetti, and Stacey Cooper earned silver medals.These medals wereearned in what is called theproficiency event. Infront ofjudges they enter either business, sandwich making,childcare, food and fitness,or other category.During the year FHA metonce a month. The only requirement was that you hadto have taken a home economics course.Outside of the state competition they participated inmany activities.
