TurnaroundDuncan improves teamThis year wasthe best seasonweve ever had,Tina Rosenbergersaid of the girls varsity softball team.Coach Duncan has... turned this program around andshe has also taughtus to believe in ourselves and what wecan do. Last year,the team won theSoutii Central Conference tournament. In addition,coach Jody Duncanwas named S.C.C.coach of the year.Although they begantheir season so well,the team had a disappointing finish, according to Kim Cottrill. Following a week of threecancelled games, theylost the first round inthe sectional tournament to Bloomingtonnorth.I feel that our program here has gainedthe respect of all ouropponents.
