Ricealso commented that the optional teamcould have been better; however, muchof the time she was pleased with thegirls performance, considering theirexperience.Rice praised intermediate team coachCheryl Luse for helping with the team.We couldnt have done it withoutCheryl, she said. Coach Rice also saidthe parents were very supportive andcame to all of the meets.Looking forward to next year, Ricebelieves there will be much gymnastictalent coming from the middle schools toSouth.Despite the problems of having ayoung, inexperienced team, Rice saidthe team showed a great deal of improvement; and she was very pleasedwith the girls.92 Gymnastics |
