Cagers Show Pride in TourneyThe 1973 Sectional draw found Bloomington pairedwith Edgewood and met Bloomington North againstMartinsville High School. After a win in the firstgame, the Panthers defeated Martinsville, 76-70. In theRegionals, Bloomingtons momentum weakened andin the final game, the Panthers lost to Franklin, whoentered the game with a 20-3 record and 15 consecutive wins.The Sectional Championship team consisted ofeleven seniors and one junior, and were led by Captain and B-man Kevin McDevitt.
