Head over toNorth for the prom. You duck intothe commons, hoping that no onewill notice that your date isalmost a foot shorter than you. Little brother heads towards tne food,located in a corner of the cafeteriadecorated in white brick and vinewallpaper, and live plants broughtup from vocational.While you mingle around thecommons, also decorated, but inblue starred wallpaper, the JimEdison Band pounds out waltzesand some popular slow dancemusic.Sarah Cox and Scott McNabbare crowned Queen and King toreign over more than 200 couplesat the Too Much Heaven prom.Drag your brother out of the cafeteria and tell him if he danceswith you once, you can go home.Realizing you arent enjoying yourself, he tells you that he knows fora fact that a very popular girlmade her younger cousin go withher.Skipping bowling, pool, andother games at the after-prom, atIndiana Universitys MemorialUnion, you are greeted at the doorby your mother.
