Chensancestors are fromTaiwan, a republic ofChina. The Taiwanesepeople share a bevyof cultural similarities with the Chinese,including style of dress.Below, Chen models theAmerican garments shewears every day andthe traditional ones ofher people.Usually held in the commons during seminar,International Day is achance for all students,international or not,to learn about foreigncultures. During International Day, freshmanHaeun Cho dresses upin a traditional Koreanoutfit to demonstratethe fashion and clothingaspect of her Koreanheritage. Cho also madea Korean-style sushi dishcalled Kimbop in order tolet her peers experiencetraditional Korean cuisine.Cho enjoys helping othersexperience her culture, aswell as experiencing others cultures.
