Ice skating and swimming were introduced as new activities. The aim of the physicaleducation program at BSHS is part of a total well-integrated school curriculum that provides the maximum opportunity and development of each studentphysically, mentally, and socially.The goal of the health classes was to give thestudents a background in body structures, mentalhealth, diseases, family living, first aid, community health, alcohol, tobacco, and narcotics.The drivers education course at BSHS was builtaround teaching defensive driving and the development of the proper attitudes while driving,Students enjoyed learning driving skills whiledriving a new Plymouth from Beard, Weaver, andAnderson and a new Dodge from Paul BrownMotor Sales.PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES TAKE precautionswhile performing difficult stunts.70 |
