Right along with the RAH! RAH! RAH! goespractice, practice, practice. But practice pays off, asthe student body knows, when the girls, after becominga varsity, reserve, or freshman cheerleader, lead theveils at pep sessions and games.Having performed a successful season of basketballsessions, the club members relaxed at a party.Chief cheerleaders were Karlene Scheibner, president; Evelyn Salee, vice-president; Faye Corbin.secretary; and Becky Willis, treasurer. Mrs. MargaretSpilker and Mrs. Jean Prigge were the sponsors. As Are Cheers And CourtesyCan you tell me where Section C is; please? Thisis just one of the many questions a Girl Usher mightfind herself confronted with at a ball game or convocation. During the Sectional tourneys which are heldhere at B.H.S., the Girl Ushers assist in the same waythey do during the regular basketball season.Almost everyone of us attending a school activity hasbeen helped at some time or another by a Girl Usher. Thehead usher this year was Nancy Ennis. Mrs. Ida Endwright was the sponsor.GIRL USHERS—(Front Row) left to right: B. Sarber, N. Ennis, T.Gillum. (Second Row) J. Isom, E. Borno, D. Mobley, Mrs. I.
