These familiar wordsrang out in room 414 as the Gothic was in the process ofbeing assembled.Work on the 1955 Gothic began long before the openingof school. Meetings were held in the summer to helpplan for the Gothic. Also at these meetings, the colors forthe 1955 Gothic were selected and a budget was set up.The taking of numerous pictures which make up the Gothicbegan with the opening of school. Also, advertisementswere secured and a very successful subscription campaignwas launched during the first semester.Later began the task of writing the copy. The second semester began with much hard work, and by April, the 1955Gothic was well on its way to the press. On hand to helpthe student staff members with any problems that mightarise were Mr. Roger Ingle and Mr. Charles Bundy, theadvisers.Students who did outstanding work were rewarded bybeing elected members of Quill and Scroll, a journalismhonorary society.EDITORIAL STAFFRow 1—Nancy Williams.
