Otto McHenry made a long run in the firstquarter to score the initial and final tally of the game.The Brazil eleven scored and then held off the raggedPanther offense throughout the remainder of the game.The locals were in scoring position twice with only a fewfeet to go, but the offense failed to click.Putting up a good fight, the Hatchets came out behind in a 45-0 score in a game which saw seven mencarried from the field.Duplicating their score of the week before, the Panthers downed Columbus in their second non-conferencegame. Two valuable linemen, Hoke and Goen, were injured in this game.Sparked by flashy Jack Adams, the Bearcats ran wildover the Panthers in a fast scoring, hard hitting game.Dick McMillan, senior guard, was injured seriously afterputting up an impressive defensive game.Again duplicating their own score of the week before,the Panthers downed another conference opponent in alast-half game. Both teams remained scoreless duringthe first half, but the local air attack ran wild in thesecond.Featuring a shifty quarterback and a flashy T formation, the Wiley Red Streaks were the first team to crossthe Panther goal stripe on Mumby Field. This game wasconsidered the best grid performance turned in on thelocal field during the season.Playing a ragged game, the locals nevertheless woundup their season by downing Boonville 7-0.
