Healthand Physical Education classes are designed toacquaint the students with the parts, functions,improvement, and care of the body. The ultimateaim of these courses is for students to transfertheir knowledge of health from classrooms andgyms to their everyday lives. Health does notmean physical fitness alone but also ones mentalcondition. Improvement of personalities andcharacters is now considered important subjectmatter in health. While in junior high, a studentis presented with a general study of health.During the ninth grade, students become well-informed about first aid. The final tenth gradecourse in health is much more detailed thanany previous course.Up and over!
