D. McAdams. Under this coachssupervision the youngsters were given some first rate hints at the basketball game and they were given their first boost on the way to basketball fameunder the colors of B. H. S. These boys all worked out faithfully throughoutthe entire season and had a very successful card from the standpoint of wonand lost percentage. The schedule for next year is an even harder one and onethat will tax the metal of the players to the utmost. But these boys are sincerein their efforts and take their basketball seriously. In one of their practices one of the players was overheard when he said thathis main idea was to be in the finals of the annual basketball tournament in sixyears. It is such spirit that wins championships and his saying became a themesong for the entire squad and they all worked out to the same tune. It is hopedthat these men can do what they have set as their goal and we as senior publishers of this year book will be able to look back on them in our old age and say:Now when I was young that boys team was just getting started. One Hundred Fourteen |
