Wig and MaskOne of the strongest organizations of the school is thedramatic society, Wig and Mask. It has been said, when-ever any money is needed, for any school purpose, that theproper thing to do is to see Wig and Mask. In the historyof the organization, several benefits have been given, in theway of plays, etc., and never yet has there failed to be acrowded house in attendance. It is a matter of note, also, thatthese entertainments are always up to the standard, and dis-play no mean degree of talent.The only qualifications necessary for membership are, at-tendance in school, and a tryout, along dramatic lines. Thesetry-outs consist of some scene of a play which is learned andacted before the club. The applicant for membership is votedon and is allowed membership by a two-thirds vote. Althoughthese try-outs are not so very rigid, the candidates must showsome real talent before he can become a member.
