A letter to Mother Mary Lecor in which Mother Theodore apologizes at length for some misunderstanding regarding a letter she had written to friends in Soulaines. She then describes the opening of the boarding school and the difficulty they had staffing it. She gives her opinions of the Sisters and the postulants and notes the arrival of a talented new postulant, Sister Mary Cecilia Bailly and the departure of a loved but problematic chaplain. Dated December 3, 1841. |
