Caption: Phil Adlers Cincinnati Store on north side (west half of block facing Washington St) Picture from a postal card advertising annual sale (Jan 13 1909 postmark on card mailed to Ora J. Smith R5 Lebanon, Ind.) This building burned on the Saturday night of Sept 2nd 1944. Picture shows the east half of the front of the Cason-Neal Bldg. fire was really early Sunday morning--Sept. 3, 1944. When photo was taken in 1908--Adler was in east half of Cason-Neal bldg. and David Eichman & Sons, clothier, were in west half. |
