227. Ohio Falls Street Trolley

Description: The Ohio Falls Street Trolley ran from east (Port Fulton) of Jeffersonville to the west (Car Works) of Jeffersonville. This trolley was labeled Route 7 and was operated by a driver and a conductor, both of whom wore suits and hats for work. The trolly cars enabled people to live further away from the main street shops and businesses and was one of the major reasons that suburbs could be built surrounding Jeffersonville.
