340. Warder Park

Description: This picture, taken between 1910 and 1915 is a panoramic image and shows only the left hand side of the entire picture. At the far left are the buildings on Spring Street and in the distance can be seen a trolley car. Continuing to the right, Behind some trees can be seen the Post Office built in 1910. Warder Park, named after a former mayor has an arched entrance. The building and dome of the public library can be barely seen at the back left of the broad sidewalk. A trolley stop sits on the sidewalk between Court Avenue and the entrance to Warder Park. Several people are waiting there. A horse and buggy is making its way on Court Ave. towards the photographer at the right of the picture.
