715. 1914 Flood, Jeffersonville, Indiana

Description: A street in Jeffersonville has enough water standing in it that a three person canoe can be rowed down the street. The row of fame houses, including 2 similar to shotgun style and one Queen Anne, stand above the water. Three women sit on the stoop in front of the Queen Anne. A man rows a boat in which a woman sits in the front and a man or boy reclines in the back.
