552. Rose Island hens

Description: A flock of hens is shown on their pecking grounds aoutside a structure. The structure may be a henhouse - or a stylized greenhouse since one side has windows. The hens provided fresh eggs for the Rose Island hotel kitchens, concession stands, and catering service,. They were housed in the farm located on the peninsula.
