542. Rose Island Steamer

Description: Pictured is the Louisville dock in 1928. in the foreground are cars parked on the slant of the dock. A steamboats stacks are puffing, there are various people strolling around the docks and on the steamer. Some are obviously workers, others are there for the excursion. In the middle front of the picture there is a couple, with the man holding a bundle, possibly a small child. In the distance can be seen the bridge and the Indiana shoreline.
