Interview with Wallace Blankenship, December 5, 2007

Description: Wallace Blankenship was born in 1923 in Port Fulton, Ind. He served in the 13th Air Force during World War II in the South Pacific for eleven months. After the war, he continued in the Air Force in Rearch and Developement at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Blankenship retired after twenty-one years in the Air Force with the rank of major. In the interview Blankenship talks about his life and years of military service. Mr. Blankenship was interviewed by Bill Halter on December 5, 2007, at The Remnant Trust, Jeffersonville, Ind. The interview was conducted as part of the Veterans History Project.
