Interviews with Shelly and William Watson. Shelly is a Clark County, Indiana, teacher. William is a county council member in Clark County. Both individuals have been very involved with Boy Scouts, at one time leading a troop of over 50 boys. They each discuss their experiences as scout leaders during the COVID-19 pandemic, touching on the boys’ declining involvement and motivation during the pandemic disruptions. They also discuss different families’ approaches to vaccinations and quarantining. Shelly expresses how watching the news during the pandemic caused her to have a heightened sense of anxiety, while William discusses his lack of time for news. |
