Interview with Eden Kuhlenschmidt

Description: Interview with Eden Kuhlenschmidt, retired librarian and library volunteer. Kuhlenschmidt discusses how COVID-19 changed her life, especially her activities as a library volunteer, and her observations of COVID-19 mitigation efforts. She compares the COVID-19 response in Indiana to the COVID-19 response in Hawaii, where she recently visited. She also discusses first hearing of the disease, how COVID-19 has changed her church, St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Jeffersoville, Indiana, grocery shopping during the pandemic. Finally, she discusses the practice of collecting oral history interviews as she sees it from her many experiences with the process.
