Description: Aerial photograph of the Colgate Plant, Clarksville, Ind., surrounded by water during the 1937 Ohio River flood. From 1847 to 1923 the plant was the Indiana Reformatory. The walls of the prison, the prison yard (to the left), the superintendents house (to the right outside the walls), and the Colgate Clock are seen in the photo. The buildings on the lower right are part of the American Car and Foundry Co.
