Description: The pamphlet is an advertisement for the Rose Island amusement park. It contains descriptions of the park, the riverboats people took to the island, and a history of the land on which it was built. Rose Island was founded in 1923 by David Rose on a peninsula formed by 14 Mile Creek and the Ohio River in Charlestown, Indiana. Rose Island was an amusement park and had cabins for rent. It was destroyed by the Great Flood of 1937 of the Ohio River.
